His career spans over 37 years in Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd where he joined as a Graduate engineer in 1973.

He has wide exposure to Technologies related to Aircraft component manufacture to assembly and flight testing. His focus area of expertise is in Machining, Tooling, Sheet metal and welding. He has in depth experience in Production planning and project planning of Aircraft Programs.

As a General Manager he is credited for the technology transfer and Productionising of the Hawk Trainer Aircraft and successful execution of Major export programs like Airbus Passenger door, Boeing 737 cargo conversion ,F18 harnesses and Gun bay doors for Boeing and Gulf Stream G150 Rear Fuselage for Israel Aircraft Company.

Exposed to application of Lean Tools as practiced by Boeing at their facility at Seattle and is trained at Dornier plant in Germany.

He had been associated with Maini Precision Products-Aerospace as Vice president in evolving long term strategies and business development for the Aero Structure vertical.
